Cortex for Upwork

Cortex for Upwork stores the user's scoring preferences locally in the browser using Chrome storage.

These preferences may include:

• skills entered by the user
• minimum hourly rate
• minimum fixed-price budget
• preferred job type

If the user chooses to join the updates list, the extension may also send:

• email address
• optional name
• submission timestamp
• extension version

to the product owner's configured webhook endpoint.

What the extension does not do

• It does not require account creation to score jobs.
• It does not send Upwork job data to a backend for scoring in this version.
• It does not track browsing outside the supported Upwork pages.

Data use

Email addresses collected through the updates form are used only for product updates, waitlist communication, or launch-related outreach.
